January 20th, 2013

Topeka, Kansas' capital. As a capital, I expected a big city but there I could see  a small old one brought from an old American far west movie. This is Topeka's High School, it is a marvelous building. I would be so proud about going to this school.

Old Prairie Town
An open door museum that shows how people worked hard to establish there. There I learned about The Wards that came to Kansas Territory in order to transform it into a State.

At Kansas Museum of History, I could see Kansas Symbols which are: state flower (wild native sunflower) , state amphibian (barred tiger salamander) , stale reptile (ornate box turtle), state animal (American bison), state bird (western meadowlark), state tree (cottonwood), state grass (little bluestem) and state insect (honeybee).

I also saw one of the first coke's machines, but what impressed me more was John Brown's ideals of freedom.
